Since I'm a Sola Scriptura (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sola_scriptura) type gal; I really like this Bible verse. I also love the idea of "training in righteousness," it just gives me the warm and fuzzies.
It's easy to remember too because I think about John 3:16 (which everyone knows) and then just add 2 Timothy and drop the John. Actuallly, now that I think about it; that might sound like more trouble than it's worth!
2 Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness
PREVIOUS SCRIPTURE: Psalm 119:11 I have hidden your words in my heart so that I may not sin against you.

I have come to see there is no perfect chuch but ia m withyou on sola scriptura. A great way to study the Word of God is through the inductive method. YOu could search for a local “Precept upon Precept” study and learn the Word this way.
